Terms of Use

These Terms cover everything under the TheAgent brand: the theagent.bz website, the newsletter and the podcast, the TheAgent Vendors catalog (https://theagent.bz/vendors) and TheAgent Pro (https://theagent.bz/pro). By using any of them, you agree to these Terms. The Portuguese version (Termos de Uso) prevails in case of divergence.

1. Who we are

TheAgent is operated by RX Investimentos e Participações Ltda (trade name Rx Venture Studio), Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 48.095.059/0001-37, Av. Brasília, 6690, Conj. 06, Capão Raso, Curitiba/PR, Brazil, ZIP 81020-010. Contact: cassyano@theagent.bz.

2. What we offer

• Website, newsletter and podcast: free content about artificial intelligence and AI agents.
• TheAgent Vendors: a free catalog of AI vendors, available without sign-up, and the Full Dossier on a vendor, sold separately.
• TheAgent Pro: a subscription service that brings TheAgent's intelligence (news, vendors, events and methods) into your AI agent, such as Claude or ChatGPT.

3. Nature of the content

All TheAgent content is for information only. It is not a purchase recommendation, consulting, or legal, accounting or investment advice, and it does not replace the analysis owed by whoever makes the decision.

The content is built from public sources, such as company registries, the press, public documents and information published by the companies themselves. Public data goes out of date and automated research makes mistakes. We correct what is reported to us, but we do not guarantee that every piece of information is permanently accurate, complete or current.

Mentioning a company does not imply any link, partnership, sponsorship or endorsement between it and TheAgent.

4. How you may use it

You may consult, quote and share the content, citing the source and keeping the date of the quoted information. You may not:

• copy the catalog or TheAgent's database, in whole or in substantial part, to build a competing database, product or service;
• collect content automatically at a volume that harms the services;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute the Full Dossier or access to TheAgent Pro;
• use the services for unlawful purposes or to try to get around security measures.

Trademarks and names of the companies mentioned belong to their owners and appear only to identify them. Texts, organization, classification and other TheAgent content belong to RX Investimentos e Participações Ltda.

5. Newsletter

The newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link at the bottom of any email.

6. TheAgent Vendors and the Full Dossier

The Full Dossier is an in-depth analysis of one vendor, paid once, with no subscription and no automatic renewal. Price and conditions are those shown at the time of purchase. It is delivered by email within 48 hours of payment confirmation, to the address given at purchase. If we do not deliver on time, we refund the full amount.

While online payment is not available, the purchase buttons lead to an expression-of-interest form. Filling it in is not a purchase, creates no charge and does not guarantee a reservation.

The Dossier is licensed for the internal use of whoever buys it.

Companies listed in the catalog can request corrections or updates to any information through the "report an error" button on their page. We do not remove a company from the catalog at its request; we remove or correct information that is wrong, outdated or should not be public.

7. TheAgent Pro

• Subscription: monthly, renewing automatically. Price and currency are those shown on the subscription page at the time you subscribe. Any price change will be announced in advance and only applies from the following billing period.
• First 7 days free: only for each account's first subscription. The automatic charge to the card on file starts after that. If you cancel and subscribe again, you pay from day one.
• Cancellation: at any time, under My account. Access continues until the end of the period already paid.
• Declined payment: access continues for 7 days while the charge is retried. If payment is not settled in that period, access is suspended until it is.
• Connected agents: each subscription allows up to 5 AI agents connected at the same time. You can disconnect an agent under My account to make room for another.
• Personal use: the subscription is personal and non-transferable. Sharing access with other people or companies is not allowed.
• Fair use: to protect the service, we may temporarily limit an account's query volume, always saying when use can resume.

8. Right of withdrawal

For purchases made online, you may withdraw within 7 calendar days, under article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code, with a full refund. For the Full Dossier, the period counts from receipt; for TheAgent Pro, from subscription. Send the request to cassyano@theagent.bz.

9. Personal data

Personal data is processed under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018), as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

10. Availability and liability

The services are provided as they are. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including for maintenance. If we discontinue TheAgent Pro, we will give advance notice and refund the unused portion of the paid period.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on TheAgent content, nor for indirect damages or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits rights guaranteed by Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.

Links to third-party sites take you outside TheAgent and follow those sites' rules.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date at the top. Relevant changes will be communicated to TheAgent Pro customers before they take effect and do not apply retroactively to past purchases.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil are chosen to settle disputes, without prejudice to a consumer's right to sue in the courts of their own domicile.
